Oogie Boogie from ‘The Nightmare before Christmas’

Since it’s after Christmas and my friend has given me her compliments on him, I can go ahead and upload these photos.

This was a Christmas gift for my friend She’s been going through a lot of hard stuff and has had a really rough year in a lot of ways, so I thought I needed to give her something really special this Christmas to help cheer her up. That’s when I got the idea of sculpting a little Oogie Boogie for her. She loves this character and his design is fairly simple, so I tried it. And I must say that I LOVE how this turned out.

Needless to say, it was kinda hard letting this guy go, even though I’m not that fond of the character. I might have to make me one eventually. >_>

I made him out of Sculpey III clay, painted him with acrylics, and sealed him with Sculpey Glaze.
