Just to let everyone know right now. This is the ONLY one I will be making of this figure. @_@ Gah! I sculpted this, I think, the end of September, but I never got around to baking and finishing him until now. Mainly because, due to his size and thickness, he required a longer baking time than my previous figures and I never could find time enough to do it. Thought I would go ahead and finish him before he got destroyed. Plus Christmas is just around the corner and Iíll need him next month when I start decorating.
I made this to set under my new small Christmas tree (one that stands on a table), because I wanted a little Jack Skellington to decorate with. This figure is actually quite different than the original concept I sketched out for it. I originally was going to have a tiny Zero standing beside him where the green ball is, and Jack was going to be pondering over a star instead of a red ball. Jack was also going to be wearing a Santa hat. But once I got into actually sculpting it, things didnít work out that way. So I had to change Zero and the star to Christmas balls at the last minute and leave off the hat. Even though I love the way this one turned out, I still would like to make another one that looks the way I originally envisioned it. I donít know if I ever will or not, because this one was a pain enough to make and it uses up a lot of clay.
He was made out of Sculpey Crafty Clay. Details were painted with acrylics (green glitter paint and metallic red paint were added to the ornaments to give them a pretty Christmassy look). And I then sealed the entire figure with Sculpey Glaze.
